Day 2 started with cartoons....as every vacation should! We don't have cable so anytime we travel half the fun of the trip is the Disney Junior Channel - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins to name a few.....
Uncle Zachary (chris' cousin) arrived the night before with his daughters and friend!
Alethia began her second creation onced we made it to the beach......I love it!

Each day we contacted the Lifeguards and they drove Chris in their truck out to the beach, set up a chair for him, and lifted him into it.....then they told us to call when he was ready to leave or if he needed anything else. It was sooo great to feel loved by them in this way. They MADE this trip sooo memorable and enjoyable for all of us. I can't imagine how different the trip would've been if Chris hadn't been able to be on the beach. It was great.....and for him to be on the same level as the kids and I was awesome.....in his wheelchair his seat is often either shorter or taller than the rest of us, so it's such a special time for us as a family when we are all on the same height/level and can be close physically....there's nothing like it and I personally enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you Lord for allowing us to have such special memories.
