What a fun day we had - Christmas day! The morning was just the four of us and it was so great - we opened presents and played as we went, no rush, just a relaxed time. We all loved it!
We got fun feet in our stockings, which is always a good time!
We had a friend over for lunch and then visited more friends in the afternoon. We were home by late afternoon and Caleb spent the rest of the day playing with his lego men village, while Alethia painted on her new easel with her new paints and brushes. I just soaked it all in. What a wonderful, cozy, family day!
And of course, we made a gingerbread house! My first, as well as the kids. Chris was a pro so he instructed us as we constructed our fun house......I loved it, no symmetry, no patterns, just color and squeals of joy.....as it should be when you're four and it's Christmas time!
