This was the thick sheet of ice in our parking lot. You see, in Dallas they truly just wait for the sun to melt everything. There are 2 plows in the entire city and no salt trucks! They don't even sell snow shovels in stores. So when it did snow we really were all trapped in with no hepe of getting out unless the sun set us free!!
don't know if you can tell, but the street was thick with ice.
So we built cities with legos.......
and telescopes!
We actually really enjoyed the 1 1/2 weeks inside at home.....lots of down time and relaxation enjoying each other!
