We went to Steppin Out this Summer - a festival in Blacksburg, VA. It was a great time and Caleb got a Virginia Tech bow and arrow. He was sooo excited to learn how to shoot it when we got home!
He and Daddy got to work right away!
He's a competitive little guy and wants to figure things out on the first try, so it took some patience on his part and Daddy's part to master the skill.....
Daddy set up the target and worked very patiently describing with his words exactly how to hold it and use it (can you imagine only having your words to teach a 5 year old boy how to shoot an arrow? Chris is soooo good at working with Caleb. And Caleb is so good at listening to him, trusting that Daddy knows how to do it!).

AND.....HE.....DID....IT!!!!!!
The crowds went wild!!!!! Alethia cheered him on like she always does.....as she drew in her sketchpad! Happy little girl - she's so sweet!
