One of Caleb's favorite things to do is play chess with Daddy. He's actually pretty good! He remembers how each piece moves and what each piece is called......he absolutely LOVES games, especially with Daddy!
Daddy wore his brace on this day so that he could move his pieces on his own. It's a pretty cool brace!
As Chris extends his wrist backwards (he can do this on his own) the brace closes his fingers for him so that he can pick things up. He can set the grip size for his fingers to be whatever he wants. So when he plays chess he sets it to the size of the chess pieces and it locks to allow him to pick them up and then release them just by moving his wrist. Pretty cool, huh?
